Short version: your files stay on your device. Here is exactly what happens.
Your files and data
Files you open, text you paste and edits you make are processed by JavaScript in your browser. They are not uploaded to any server, not stored by us and not shared with anyone. When you close or reload the page, the data is gone from memory.
When you use Open in viewer, the data is handed to the viewer page through your browser's session storage. It stays in that browser tab and is removed as soon as the viewer has read it.
Settings stored in your browser
Your theme choice (light, dark or system) and some tool options are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still set next time. They never leave your device, and you can clear them with your browser's site data settings. CSV Lark sets no cookies.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking. It never receives what you type, paste or drop into the tools.
Hosting
The pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.

Links to sister sites and recommended tools are plain links. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies.
